The Fountain of Memory 2015

The Fountain of MemoryThe Fountain of Memory is a large-scale 360-degree installation that celebrates light, water, audio, and amazing reactivity. The base of the structure consists of framing with semi-translucent panels between. Within the structure, full-color high-frame rate LED lighting slowly animates and give the base an unearthly glow.

For the full details and photos about this community-supported project, please see more details on the main Fountain of Memory page.

Dallas Aurora

10.18.2013

Featured at the worlds largest city-sponsored interactive art exhibit.

The Aurora Project is a free contemporary art exhibition centered in the rapidly developing Dallas Arts District. The project presents interactive new media artworks such as light, video, performance, and sound in exciting and unexpected public spaces. The Aurora Project offers a valuable opportunity for collaboration between hundreds of local, national, and international artists, for an inclusive artistic experience and community engagement.

Aaron Wilson of AudioPixel presented ‘Arbor Borealis’, a three-dimensional grid of RGB LED spheres that presents an ever changing myriad of generative 3D graphics driven by environmental and user audio input. Patrons walked on the reflecting pool and seemed to take pleasure snapping pictures and exploring the spaces inside the piece.
